I know a lot of people out there are saying I can’t make that. Or think that people don’t like to get homemade gifts. Or the one that I worry about- that homemade gifts are too small- like physically small. Is that weird? Anyway, I get it, but I think that if you were to question the majority of people that you are buying gifts for, they will say that handmade means more. And it’s not the size that counts. Every now and then, you’ll have the one person who won’t appreciate a handmade item- to me, that just means you need to change their mind, by showing how the gift was really personalized for them, or tastes so much better, or is of a lot better quality….
I like to sew most of the gifts that I make, but that excludes a lot of people who don’t sew- so I’ve tried to round up a wide variety of gift ideas here so that there’s something for everyone!
It’s almost crunch time, so here are a bunch of ideas that don’t take a long time to get ready….

Here are some fun tile coasters from The Cottage Home- I’ve made these before and they are a lot of fun. Try looking at your local ReStore for really inexpensive tiles!
These Clothespin magnets from Crafting and Creativity are really fun and useful. If the poms aren’t your style, here’s a tutorial for some with glitter, or here’s some with scrapbook paper.
These Handy Coasters from Spoonful are super cute and would be a great memory of how small your kiddo’s hand was, once.
Sugar Scrubs from The Idea Room are great for your skin, and recipients will think that it takes a lot of work! It will be your little secret just how easy this tutorial is.
Got a coffee lover on your list? Make them a Cup Cozy from Crafty Staci for their to-go cup!
Chocolate Dipped Pretzels are super easy and delicious!
What about kids? Here are some cute super hero etched glasses glasses from I Am Momma Hear Me Roar. (Tip: If you don’t have a machine to make a vinyl stencil, you can use contact paper. And you don’t have to be limited to super heroes… what other designs can you etch?)
