I’m not a big fan of liquid soap, so I created this version. The soap though, is a great idea to clean and scrub at the same time! I still include oil though for moisturizing purposes since soap can be so drying, especially when your poor hands have been digging in the dirt.

My favorite part of the other tutorial is that it’s not really about perfect measuring- there’s no leftover bits that won’t fit in your jar because the recipe is measured in your jar! So I used that same technique.

Ingredients:
sugar
sweet almond oil (this is a great emollient, but you could also use olive oil)
1/3 – 1/2 bar of ivory soap
Lavender (optional)

Lavender essential oil

I found these cute jars at Goodwill.
