Welcome back to Handmaking the Holidays<\/a>! You\u2019ve probably been on a tour of my lovely partners in handmaking: \nThey\u2019ve come up with a lot of fun crafts and goodies for you to make for the holiday season this year. If you haven\u2019t been checking them out, I hope you will. You can see the previous posts by clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n \nNow, onto my post! <\/p>\n \nShortly after the beginning of last month, we took Lil\u2019Miss out of school and started homeschooling. It\u2019s a long story, remind me to tell you about it next month. We\u2019re experimenting with the Notebooking style of schooling, and we\u2019re having a blast.<\/p>\n \nThis month, we\u2019re studying how the world celebrates the Winter Holidays. It\u2019s a great way to introduce kids to the world.<\/p>\n \nFor some handwriting practice, I created these notebooking pages with some of my favorite Christmas-y quotes. To use them, click the download link below the image and the print them out. You\u2019ll need Adobe Acrobat to open the files. After you\u2019ve printed them out, your child can practice writing the quote on the lines below. Then they can color or decorate the page if they like.<\/p>\n \nI made each one with a version with the dotted middle line and a version with just lines for older kids.
