Welcome back to Handmaking the Holidays<\/a>! You’ve probably been on a tour of my lovely partners in handmaking: \nThey’ve come up with a lot of fun crafts and goodies for you to make for the holiday season this year. If you haven’t been checking them out, I hope you will. You can see the previous posts by clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n \nNow, onto my post! <\/p>\n \nShortly after the beginning of last month, we took Lil’Miss out of school and started homeschooling. It’s a long story, remind me to tell you about it next month. We’re experimenting with the Notebooking style of schooling, and we’re having a blast.<\/p>\n \nThis month, we’re studying how the world celebrates the Winter Holidays. It’s a great way to introduce kids to the world.<\/p>\n \nFor some handwriting practice, I created these notebooking pages with some of my favorite Christmas-y quotes. To use them, click the download link below the image and the print them out. You’ll need Adobe Acrobat to open the files. After you’ve printed them out, your child can practice writing the quote on the lines below. Then they can color or decorate the page if they like.<\/p>\n \nI made each one with a version with the dotted middle line and a version with just lines for older kids.
