Are you ever out somewhere doing some embroidery and you can’t remember a certain stitch and you kind of need to know right now, but all your embroidery books are at home? This happens to me all the time.
I’ve got a solution for you. This is my binder ring booklet. It’s a FREE printable that I created. (P.S. this used to be found on three separate pages on the blog, but I’ve combined them all into this single page)
I really want something that reminds me of the different types of stitches that I could do, and how to do them, but is small enough to fit in my embroidery bag. I already have Stitch Sampler by Lucinda Ganderton- this book is the best embroidery stitch book that I have come across. But it’s still book sized. It won’t fit in my purse or embroidery bag, it’s pretty bulky (even though it is less bulky than other books!)
Included Embroidery Stitches
On page 1, you’ll find a cover, plus these stitches:
– running stitch
– back stitch
– stem stitch
– blanket stitch
On page 2, you’ll find these stitches:
~ french knots
~ feather stitch
~ straight stitch
~ chain stitch
~ detached chain stitch
On page 3, you’ll find these stitches:
~ star eyelet stitch
~ fern stitch
~ wheat ear stitch
~ herringbone stitch
~ closed blanket stitch
That’s a total of 14 commonly used stitches!!
But Wait!
If you need even more stitches, check out this larger, new and improved version that I have available in the shop! Bonus: you don’t have to do all the laminating and cutting out! I’ve already done that for you! Plus there’s a total of 44 individual pages with 50 stitches that are useful and beautiful to add to your embroidery works!
