This PDF includes pattern sheets for all pieces so they can quickly and easily be printed on freezer paper. Complete instructions are included for completing the project with a sewing machine, hand sewing or needle felting.
Required Fabrics:
Felt – Eco, Synthetic, Wool Blend or 100% wool felt. 100% wool felt required for option 3.
~ 3 standard sheets or 1/3 yard of one color for letters and shapes.
~ 5 standard sheets or 1/3 yard of another color for background
~ 75 inches Embroidery Floss or 1/8 or 1/4 inch (4 or 8mm) wide ribbon
Requires Supplies:
For Printing and Cutting Out Pattern: A printer, regular printer paper, freezer paper sheets
For Cutting Fabric: Fabric: scissors, an iron
For Completing the Pattern:
All Options: Sewing machine, sewing thread, machine needles size 12 or 14, dull tipped tapestry needle or medium sized safety pin
Option 2: Embroidery floss, embroidery needle size 5
Option 3: Needle felting needles size 38 and/or 40, needle felting foam, PLUS supplies from Option 1 OR Option 2.
Intermediate Sewing Level, approximately 1 hour.
