These silly kitties are almost jumping off the fabric! This pattern makes a beautiful wall hanging for any cat lover! Easy to follow instructions and the stitch guide give you all the information you need to complete this pattern!
This PDF includes pattern sheets for all pieces so they can quickly and easily be printed on freezer paper. Complete instructions are included for completing the project with a sewing machine, hand sewing, and embroidery.
For Printing and Cutting Out Pattern: A printer, regular printer paper, freezer paper sheets or a pencil and freezer paper roll
For Cutting Fabric: fabric scissors, an iron
For Completing the Pattern: embroidery needle size 5, sewing machine
Felt – Eco, Synthetic, Wool Blend or 100% wool felt.
~ scraps of blue, purple and pink felt for the forehead and nose pieces
~ 3 – 9in x 12in sheets of black felt for the kitties
Embroidery Floss – cotton embroidery floss in matching colors to the felt
Cotton Fabric –
~ half yard red cotton woven fabric for the backgrounds
~ half yard brown cotton woven fabric for the sashing and back side of wall hanging
Cotton fabrics should be pre-washed, dried and ironed to prevent shrinking and colors from running.
Batting – low-loft cotton batting for the inside of the wall hanging (approximately 19 inches x 11 inches)
Buttons – twelve 9mm green buttons for the Kitties’ eyes. You may also use slightly larger or smaller buttons to make them look even sillier.
Wooden Dowel – 1 – 12 inch long, ¼ inch diameter wooden dowel to hang the wall hanging
