I\u2019m not a huge fan of sunscreen, but there is no question that children need to be more protected from the sun, so a nice hat seems to be the answer. And hats for girls are pretty easy to find. BUT, I\u2019ve got a little boy now\u2026 and I haven\u2019t really been able to find a cute boys hat or a pattern that really worked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I made one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the classic bucket hat- probably my favorite type of sun hat. It\u2019s reversible and I can just think of so many variations and embellishments!! Of course Lil\u2019 Miss feels that she needs to match her brother, so even though I made the pattern for Mr. Man, she always wants a matching hat. Which is super cute!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
