Stitching Bliss is my name for a group of patterns I design that can be simple or complex designs, meant to be stitched with just one or two stitches and a single color of embroidery floss. Generally I choose a variegated floss<\/a> so the colors really POP! You can use any color of background fabric – I recommend trying black floss on a red or pink fabric. Or yellow floss on dark blue fabric<\/a>. Or a light colored variegated floss<\/a> on a dark colored background. Honestly, the possibilities are endless, and this is where you get to express your creativity!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did this one on a white background with two variegated flosses- one for the leaves and one for the petals. I used a simple back stitch- my usual choice for the Stitching Bliss patterns, but a thicker stitch like chain stitch or stem stitch would look really good on this one too. It’s all up to you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kids and I always end up watching a show in the evenings to destress, so this is what I like to do while we watch a show. I’m always stitching something!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
